By accessing or using the website at https://singhhomeinspections.ca ("the Website") or engaging Singh Home Inspections ("we," "us," or "our") for home inspection services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Our Services

Singh Home Inspections provides residential and commercial property inspection services in Calgary, Alberta and surrounding areas. Our inspections are visual, non-invasive examinations of the accessible components and systems of a property, performed in accordance with accepted industry standards of practice.

Our inspections are based on the condition of the property at the time of the inspection. We do not guarantee future performance of any system or component. The inspection is not a warranty, guarantee, or insurance policy on the property.

Scope of Inspection

Our home inspections include a visual examination of the readily accessible and installed systems and components of a property, which may include:

• Structural components (foundation, framing, roof)
• Exterior (siding, grading, drainage)
• Roofing system
• Plumbing system
• Electrical system
• Heating and cooling systems (HVAC)
• Interior (walls, ceilings, floors, windows, doors)
• Insulation and ventilation
• Fireplaces and chimneys

Inspections do not include areas that are concealed, inaccessible, or not readily visible. We are not required to move personal property, furniture, equipment, or debris to conduct the inspection.

Limitations

Our inspection services are subject to the following limitations:

• The inspection is not technically exhaustive and does not identify every defect or condition
• We do not perform engineering, architectural, plumbing, or electrical analysis
• We do not test for environmental hazards (such as asbestos, lead paint, radon, or mold) unless specifically requested and included as an additional service
• We do not evaluate the adequacy of any system or component for code compliance
• We do not determine the remaining useful life of any system or component
• We do not inspect areas that are not safely or readily accessible

Inspection Reports

Following the inspection, we will provide a written report of our findings. The report is prepared for the exclusive use of the client who engaged our services. The report is not transferable and should not be relied upon by any third party without our written consent.

Reports are delivered promptly following the inspection. The report represents our professional opinion based on the conditions observed at the time of the inspection.

Scheduling and Cancellation

Inspections are scheduled based on availability. We make every effort to accommodate your preferred date and time. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule an inspection due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of the inspection unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept common forms of payment. Pricing is based on the type and size of the property and the services requested.

Limitation of Liability

Singh Home Inspections carries errors and omissions insurance and general liability insurance. Our total liability for any claims arising from our services shall not exceed the fee paid for the inspection. We are not liable for any consequential, incidental, or indirect damages.

Any claim related to our inspection services must be reported to us in writing within a reasonable time after discovery of the issue. We reserve the right to re-inspect the property before any repairs are made.
